Stock Markets and History of the Stock Exchanges
Stock markets allow individuals and companies with a place to trade securities among themselves. The main place where companies or governments issue or redeem securities on the stock is. To understand the need for exchanges forstock must first go back in time, far behind in time to be accurate to see the first example of a stock exchange. One of the first recorded trade was founded in the 12th century to help banks manage and dealing with the debts of the communities that were based economically on agriculture. This idea trading quickly spread throughout Europe. One of the places near we see the history of Venice's trade is with the bankers during the 13th century the government of commercial values. Other communities such as Pisa, Verona, Genoa and Florence also began trading in securities, especially the government as well. During this same period we see Bruges, Belgium map explode. While many speculate Brugge was probably the first change in the world, one thing that no doubt is how quickly became the powerhouse of the region. The initial implementation was that commodity traders gathered inside the house of a man called Van der Burse. His idea also spread to places like Ghent and Amsterdam.
The first ever joint-stock company to start was made by the Dutch. corporations were a novel idea at the time, allowing shareholders or owners of the company to invest in a business. The difference was that the owners or shareholders of the company would pay a share of the profits or losses of the company occurs. This was the first time in history that commercial companies could be taken without putting any individual investor in a too great a financial risk while ensuring time a very profitable opportunity as well. The first company ever formed as a corporation was the Company of the Netherlands East Indies. The Netherlands East India Company in 1602 published its first actions, which proved to be the IPO for the first time in the world, issuing shares, including sale of bonds to investors. The sale of shares held in the Amsterdam Stock Exchange.
Many decades later, 1688 to be exact, the London Stock Exchange was born. The shares trade in London (London Stock Exchange) began with the need to finance two trips: the business criollo attempt to reach China through the northern White Sea in Russia and the East India Company voyage to India and east. Trading in the stocks in the second company started in 1688. Unable to finance these private expensive trips, companies raised the money by selling shares to merchants, giving them the right to a portion of profits to be conducted. The idea were soon. It is estimated that in 1695 there were 140 corporations. The stock trading is focused on changing the City Alley in two coffee shops: Garraway and Jonathan. The origins of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange go back to the 9th century and a letter by the German Emperor Louis to hold free trade fairs. In the 16th century became Frankfurt in a rich and busy city with an economy based on trade and financial services. Was established in 1585 to establish a stock of fixed exchange rates. During the following centuries Frankfurt became one of the world's first stock exchanges – next to London and Paris. Bankers like Mayer Amschel Rothschild and Max Warburg had substantial influence on Frankfurt's financial trade. The Amsterdam Stock Exchange is considered the oldest in the world. It was established in 1602 by the Society of the Netherlands East Indies (Verenigde Oostindische Compagnie, or VOC) for transactions in its printed stocks and bonds. What became known as the Amsterdam Stock Exchange and was the first to start formally trading.
Back in America took almost a century for our stock exchange chief officer. The first exchange in the United States U.S. was built on the corner of 68th Street literal Wall Street in New York. They asked that the agreement, the Buttonwood Agreement since it was signed by twenty-four runners under a tree buttonwood. After a few centuries was renamed the property, which would now be called the New York Stock and Exchange Board. Its kind of funny to look back and think how cheap it was to rent space especially for something like a stock exchange. The New York Stock Exchange and the Board rented a place at 40 Wall Street in 1817 by only $ 200 a month. This location serves them well for almost 20 years but was destroyed in the Great Fire of New York in 1835. Finally, some thirty years Later, during the Civil War, the name was changed back to what we know is, the Stock Exchange in New York. In those days there was no Internet or radio or television for most people learn through either word of mouth, newspapers or brochures short. A booklet was the letter as a customer in the afternoon that was just a daily financial news bulletin two page report by Charles Dow. The idea of this type of ad or news service which was later allow companies The Wall Street Journal to thrive as it had been a steady demand for such information. Since 1884 this letter included a call average stock in the Dow Jones Averages. This short list includes nine railroads and two industrial companies .. You may recognize the name of Dow, as it is the same name as an index stock, the Dow Jones Industrial Average. When he made his transition in 1896 to the Dow Jones IndustrialAverage included 12 populations of the U.S. industry leaders , and was what we now call an average dollars of them.
Many years later, with the computer revolution has just begun, the world needed an electronic stock market. In 1971, we got exactly that, the National Association of Securities Dealers or for short NASDAQ. This was originally just a plank ads for buyers and sellers to see the prices posted, but does not allow actual orders that will take place through computers yet. With prices can see on a screen around the world, the spread or the difference in the price bid and offer price of a stock traded on the exchange fell sharply. Despite that the NASDAQ is a computer-based trading system was not until 1987 that the computers were used finally to the offices of the process. Until the stock market crash of 1987 all orders are made via the phone, when a runner called each other. What was found after the accident was that when officers tried to call other brokers to sell or buy shares, has not responded, which meant that there was no liquidity or activity. This was obviously a problem that was created to solve the system Small Order Execution (EPE) to allow brokers to trade with market makers which always fulfills their transactions and not try to hide when the markets to the south. Another American commodities, derivatives and futures is the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME). In 1898 the exchange was founded officially, but the name was the Chicago Butter and Egg Board and was also a nonprofit organization as well. Today in the MEC many financial instruments trading, interest rates, equities, currencies, commodities, weather, real estate derivatives, options, and finally, future. An interesting note, The CME is the largest market for financial futures and options worldwide.
The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT), established in 1848, is the oldest of the world's future and exchange of options. Over 50 different options and futures contracts are traded on more than 3,600 CBOT members through word of mouth and e-commerce systems. Concerns U.S. merchants to ensure the existence of buyers and sellers of commodities have been translated into forward contracts to sell and buy commodities. However, credit risk remains a serious problem. The CBOT took shape to provide a centralized location where buyers and sellers can meet to negotiate and conclude contracts to run. In 1864, the CBOT listed the first standard "traded" forward contracts, which were called futures contracts. In 1919, the Chicago Butter and Egg Board, a spin-off of the CBOT, was reorganized to members to enable traders to trade future and its name was changed to Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME). The Chicago Board of Trade established the Chicago Board Options Exchange in 1973. The first change to the standard list, stock options traded began his first day of business on April 26, 1973, at a 125th birthday celebration of the Chicago Board of Trade. CBOE options contracts are settled by the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC). From about April 11, 2007, the Wall Street Journal estimated that globally the market capitalization of the derivatives markets (Futures, options, swaps, etc.) exceeds 450 billion dollars (while U.S. stock exchanges have about 30 trillion dollars and the rest of stock exchanges of the worlds total to about another 20 billion dollars, totaling some 50 billion – while the global fixed income markets total approximately 65 billion dollars). The New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) is the world's largest futures exchange physical commodities, based in New York. Its two main divisions are the New York Mercantile Exchange and Commodity Exchange, Inc. (COMEX) The New York Mercantile Exchange handles billions of dollars worth of energy products, metals and other commodities are bought and sold on the trading floor at night and e-commerce computer systems. Prices for transactions in the exchange are the basis prices paid for individual commodities worldwide. In 1872, a group of Manhattan dairy merchants got together and created the Butter and Cheese Exchange New York. Soon, the egg trade became part of the activity in the exchange and the name was changed to butter, cheese, egg and Exchange. In 1882, the name finally changed to the New York Mercantile Exchange, where the opening trade of dried fruits, canned goods and poultry.
The AMEX began in 1842 as a curb market in Broad Street near Exchange Place. Curb brokers met around the lampposts and mail boxes, resisting wind and weather, placement of the lists of stocks for sale. As trading activity increased so did the volume of transactions, the shouting reached such a high level that the hand signals of values had to be inserted so that brokers could continue trading for the crash. In 1921 he moved the internal market the building of 86 Trinity Place, Manhattan, where he still resides. Hand signals remained in place for decades, even after the move, as a convenient media. AMEX's core business has shifted over the years from stocks to options and exchange-traded funds, but trade remains small to medium-sized towns. Before you buy, get all the information you can yourself and from your broker. Then do two things: (1) consider the price of the stock you’re looking at in relation to present and prospective per share earnings; and (2) virtually ignore dividend yield. About price, many growth stocks sell at 40 to 50 times per share earnings. That’s not too high a price for shares in companies growing 30% or more a year. But in general, try to buy a growth stock within 30 times its last twelve-month reported earnings per share. About dividends, if you’re looking for a 5% yield on a good growth stock, you’ll just never buy one!

In Forex trading Bulletin Black and white – 3/30/06
So, hopefully, have remained with my looks back on the currency markets. the Forex trading, like any other skill, can be improved with research and education.
That said, the most important asset for research is retrospective. Remember, in exchange operations, history tends to repeat itself. This is what we will try to exploit in our look at the foreign exchange operations.
So far, we have focused only on cable, which is a nickname for the currency pair – Pound Sterling / U.S. Dollar. The symbol for the cable is usually represented as GBP / USD.
In our technical analysis, we use the terms ranging from weekly to every hour. Thus, we have a good perspective on the trend in both in the short and long term.
Remember, this article was written long before you are actually reading. Use this information as a single tool. By the time you read this, our support and resistance levels have changed.
Do not attempt to use this information as a board of trade in any way.
I look forward to receiving your comments and observations.
OK, let's get to the negotiation.
Cable seems to be moving again. I really feel good to have a daily series over 100 pips which was not directly driven by the news. We did not get in our offices last night, not only was not real before bounce down.
The 1.7440 level was really only two reasons to take it, and only 14 pips away from the close of the previous day close of trade. That's a little too aggressive, especially with the volatility started to increase.
The 1.7440 level is now much more important as we add a final High night the growing list of reasons to take it. Cable has become the first fall prospects for consolidation, but upside should be limited by the resistance 1.744 and bring resumption.
We believe that resistance should be kept below 1.7420 with no news to push past, and we expect price action to resume its downward movement towards 1.7048.
Now, go ahead and take a look at what happened in business at the next meeting when this item was written. Hopefully, I moved on.
Getting the proper education of foreign exchange trading, to be able to recognize that adjustments should be made, and most importantly understand how to make these adjustments, it is the best way to survive and prosper in this or any other market. Learn to be an independent and control their own future.
